Narduwar had heart surgery yesterday (January 25) at Vancouver General Hospital, according to a post on his Facebook page.
The procedure was a PFO closure. PFO, or Patent foramen ovale, is commonly referred to as "hole in the heart" and occurs when the tissue between the left and right atria in the heart does not close after infancy.
In a separate post made on Twitter,Narduwar said that the surgery was successful. The media personality was released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
The surgery was deemed a necessary follow-up procedure after Narduwar suffered a stroke in December.
